FOR THE PESTO:

INGREDIENTS

FRESH BASIL (2 CUPS)

OLIVE OIL (1/2 CUP)

WALNUTS (1/2 CUP)

1 GARLIC CLOVE

GRATED PARMESAN CHEESE (1/2 CUP)

WHIPPING CREAM (1 CUP)

1 TEASPOON SEA SALT

BLACK PEPPER, TO TASTE

DIRECTIONS

  • BLEND ALL THE INGREDIENTS TOGETHER IN A BLENDER OR FOOD PROCESSOR UNTIL SMOOTH AND CREAMY, PUT ASIDE
  • IN A MEDIUM SIZE SAUCE PAN, HEAT UP THE CREAM ON LOW TO MEDIUM HEAT UNTIL HOT BUT NOT BOILING, ADD YOUR SALT AND PEPPER AS WELL AS THE PESTO SAUCE
  • COOK FOR ANOTHER 5 MINUTES OVER LOW HEAT, MIXING WELL AND ADD TO EITHER COOKED PASTA OR CHICKEN
