Lorie Perrone

I am a self taught home cook, sharing my love for great tasting food while incorporating healthier alternatives and eliminating certain ingredients that may be causing us discomfort. Whether it’s sugar or gluten, I have a variety of dishes that range from traditional italian to healthy recipes without the use of gluten and/or refined sugars.

I have a passion for creating new and delicious recipes for my family. I was born in Toronto and raised by Italian parents.

I was always inspired by my mom’s talents in the kitchen. Everything was made fresh and from scratch including homemade pastas and sauces. Nothing ever compared to my mom’s cooking and there was no such thing as take-out when I was growing up.

Once I got married, that’s when I began to experiment with food, the flavours that came from putting simple ingredients together amazed me. Now I have that same passion for creating those same wonderful dishes with healthier alternatives in mind.
