Now for my recipe:
ALMOND PROTEIN BALLS WITH TURMERIC & COLLAGEN
Ingredients:
1/2 cup smooth & creamy almond butter
1/2 cup ground unsalted almonds
1/4 cup applesauce
1/2 cup organic rolled oats
2 tbsp. organic honey
1 tbsp. flax seeds
2 scoops Further Food Daily Turmeric Tonic
1 scoop Further Food Collagen Peptides Protein Powder
1/2 cup unsweetened finely shredded coconut (for rolling)
Directions:
Using a medium size mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients except for the coconut, mixing well to combine.
Cover and refrigerate for minimum 1 hour before rolling into balls.
Once cooled, form into 1 inch round balls and roll into shredded coconut
Refrigerate until ready to eat. Keeps well in a tight fitted sealed container for up to 5 days. You can also freeze them for up to 1 month.
Makes a great healthy snack pre or post workout or just when you need something to hold you until your next meal.
*Makes about 14 balls!
