This is a healthier version of homemade hot chocolate without the added refined sugar that store bought versions are full of. It’s silky & smooth chocolately taste is delish. If you are not a fan of dark chocolate, you can replace it with milk chocolate instead.
Hot chocolate is definitely my favourite winter drink. It’s so comforting and soothing on a cold wintery day.
RECIPE:
Ingredients:
1 cup original almond milk
2 tbsp. melted dark chocolate chips
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. raw cacao or cocoa powder
1 scoop Further Food Collagen Protein Powder
1 tbsp. coconut sugar (add to your preference)
coconut whip cream (for topping)
Directions:
Heat up all ingredients into a small saucepan over medium heat except for the whip cream.
Once the milk comes to a light boil, stir in the collagen protein powder and pour into a mug.
Top with coconut whip cream and shaved chocolate.
