To all the smoothie lovers out there, I am confident that you will love this recipe! It’s basically a smoothie that you eat with a spoon.  Perfect for those who are not a fan of drinking their meals!

Smoothies & protein shakes are my “go to” breakfast when I am trying to avoid the starchy carbs.  Although, you may feel like it’s not as satisfying as eating a peanut butter sandwich, believe me, this “breakfast smoothie bowl” will hold you for hours.  It actually feels like you are eating dessert but it’s guilt free and healthy for your body.  The combination of the frozen bananas, almond milk and raw cacao (tastes just like ice cream), in my opinion.  YUMMY!

1 1/2 to 2 sliced frozen bananas

1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk

1 scoop Further Food Collagen Protein Peptides Powder

1 tbsp. raw cacao powder

1 tbsp. flax seeds

1 tbsp. creamy almond butter

Ice cubes

Suggested Toppings:

Sliced banana

Sliced strawberries or any berries

Premium Organic Granola

Unsweetened coconut flakes

Pistacchio nuts (or nuts of your choice)

Dark chocolate chunks


Place all ingredients into a blender or Nutribullet and blend until smooth and creamy!
