10 OUNCES OF WHITE SUGAR
1 LEMON (GRATED & SQUEEZED)
4 TEASPOONS BAKING POWDER
1 TEASPOON VANILLA EXTRACT
2 CUPS ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
MILK (2 TABLESPOONS)
DIRECTIONS
- BEAT THE EGGS WITH A MIXER, ADD THE OIL THEN ADD SUGAR, ADD THE LEMON, BAKING POWDER AND VANILLA, MIX WELL, AT THE END ADD THE FLOUR
- POUR ¾ OF THE BATTER IN THE CAKE PAN
- WITH THE REMAINING ¼ OF THE BATTER, ADD 6 TABLESPOONS OF COCOA, ADDING A LITTLE MILK (ABOUT 2 TABLESPOONS) AND MIX TOGETHER, ADD THIS MIXTURE ON TOP OF THE PREVIOUS BATTER
- BAKE AT A PREHEATED 375 DEGREES F. OVEN FOR 45 MINUTES
OPTIONAL: AFTER THE CAKE HAS COOLED, YOU CAN MELT SOME DARK CHOCOLATE AND DRIZZLE ON TOP
